    i think the main marines prob is it is relying too much on team work, and yet there is not enough in the mod to aid this. the alien team dont really need any team work at all - just a few of each race, and communication is not rly nessassary either coz of their sight thru walls.

    Marines **NEED** a radar! Ground troops need to see where everyone is (mainly so the commander doesnt need to select the ones just spawned and set a waypoint to the marines under attack - wasting much needed commander time). All marines should beable to SEE who is saying wot (ie. need ammo/health, etc) and where they're saying it (sorry if im turning into a cs player - but these will still help dremastically i recon)

    If aliens wanna stick defences around their Hive's/RT's u could easily have one gorge for each, all building at the same time = alot for marines to take out (if they even get that far with attacking <!--emo&::skulk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/skulk.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='skulk.gif'><!--endemo--> s) - in the mean time all marines (and commander) are still building up their one (perhaps two) base(s). Commander is under too much stress - leading to no fun (in my opinion). Gorges, on the other hand, can be fun to play - walk off by yourself build a **obscenity**-load off defences around one resource node and move on to the next and repeat - always knowing there are other people on your team doing all the fighting.

    My Final Thought : NS needs to sort its lack of communication for the marines - aliens have they're "wallhack" whereas marines are stuck with ... a ... knife? <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I think this is mainly the marines own fault. While the aliens will normally just start building 3-4 res towers before they start building any defences, the marines usually take their time (and most notably: their resources) to build a turret factory and 3 turrets each and everytime a marine encounters a resource nozzle.
    Normally the skulks can allways find a blind angle on the turret factory anyway so the turrets dosnt server any real purpose appart from slowing down the marines expansion a lot.
