<div class="IPBDescription">Any out there?</div>Hey, I want to get into organized play for NS2 now. Are there any groups out there I can play with? If not anyone want to start a NS2 clan? I already have a Ventrilo server. Let me know.

    YO are still around, our NS2 server is down for the moment but as soon as it's back up and running we'll let people know.

    In NS1, we've been since 2005 and organized somewhere around 30 NS competitioons. As for NS2 We haven't organized any cups yet, but we'll as soon as the game is playable for majority of the gamers, and there's a relative feature freeze.

    In the meanwhile, you can enjoy NS1 pick-up games, also known as gathers. They're quite fun. Just register and click gather on the left side. Rest of the instructions are there and you can ask for help in the chat.

    I was hoping to find some UK players to play with not necessarily a "clan" or anything - just a group of people who I can play with and are in the UK (to keep pings as low as possible).

    We're half clan/half bunch of idling slackers, hopefully anyone from NS1 days will remember us, we don't play much NS2 (yet), but there are normally a few of us idling in IRC/Steam (#yo-clan on Quakenet), that can be pestered into playing. We also do semi-regular L4D2 games aswell as thats what most of us have been playing post-NS1.

    Hopefully UWE will release a proper linux dedicated server soon so we can revive the YO NS server and get some regular games going.

    I help run n00bfest.com, a community that's been around for about 8 years playing Counter-Strike and other related games. We've got over 3000 registered members and well over 400 that are around on an every-day basis. We're working on an NS2 server running, but we've got linux and we're not going to install WINE to have it run, but you're welcomed to check us out. We are a community, not a clan.
