If it helps UW getting money, do it. As long as TF2 gets the Hats and not ns2. The best thing about NS2 that it does much better than other games in my opinion is its unique atmosphere. Random stupid hats in game would destroy this.

I'm afraid of an elitism backlash; people who were with the game before the hypothetical hats might drive off new players under the pretense of being a "TF2 noob."
This thread should be tried for witchcraft, found guilty, and be burned at the stake.
However, there is ONE type of hat I will support.
If UWE decides to release a baseball hat that looks like the skulk's face for the head part and upper jaw for the bill, I will buy the living hell out of that hat and were it with pride!
