Est-ce qu'il y a des joueurs québécois ? [French topic]

Salut !

J'aimerais savoir s'il y a quelques québécois qui jouent à NS2 et s'il va y avoir des serveurs québécois dans le futur... Ça serait bien de créer une petite communauté de joueurs québécois (ou francophones à la limite !).

Si vous parlez français donnez vos commentaires il y a quelquechose à faire avec cela c'est sur !

Salut, tisboyaa! Je suis un joueur NS2 québécois moi aussi. J'ai déjà fait parti d'une communauté québécoise pour NS1, sauf qu'elle n'a pas duré longtemps. Je suis toutefois intéressé à m'impliquer dans une communauté pour NS2, même que je plannifiais fournir un serveur. J'ai la motivation, sauf pas toujours le temps. :(

Yes, english is the most common langage but french isn't really uncommon.. :-P

J'aimerais développer un site web pour une communauté québécoise, mais je crois que pour tout de suite c'est mieux d'attendre que le jeu soit à un stade plus près de la release finale pour pouvoir rassembler le plus de joueurs possibles.

Are there plans to enable small language only boards? It seems a shame we keep so xenophobic about this issue here just because a lot of us speak English as a main language.

I think you should go ahead and establish at least the website with a forum as a gathering place so that people know about it and the word gets spread. Then, when NS2 final comes out, open up a server.... or perhaps open it up if the beta gets good enough so that people keep playing long after the last patch. Anyways, if you're looking for help, let me know!

...and if nothing happens in the next year or so, I'll probably do it by myself. :P

Ok, too late! Here it is, done in ~10 minutes: (removed) Couldn't help myself. Although the worse community site ever, its a first step!!!!! Now all happy NS2 french peeps can take refuge before this becomes a thirdy nine page long thread arguing why english is better than french. :)

I'd be interested in some sort of French-speaking community. I'm originally from New-Brunswick (french parts) and am now living in Ottawa. That's about as close to Quebec you can get without being a Québécois :P

Hello there!

I'm not québécois, just the regular French.
Don't take offense at the "only English" rules; it's purely for moderation purposes and not for censorship.
I do not know of any québécois communities; however I can point you to its French counterpart. Obviously there will be a time zone difference, however the language barrier isn't as harsh (well, in typed text at least; still can't understand what you're saying).
