It's even more jerky now - totally unplayable. an online first person shooter game should give atleast 50fps in a heavy/busy scene, NS2 give only about 4fps.
The game doesn't start in 64bit W7 at all. PC-objects are so jumpy ingame that it seems like you don't have interpolation/smoothing code at all, as if you were only using direct data from packets. Is the netcode running on its own tread ? Is the netcode holding the framerate ?
Seems like you have good artists in your team.
Good luck with it ! :)

I get 50-70fps in the ready room and 30-60 in combat..
I agree some things could be smoother but in general it's quiet playable!
While i agree that there seems to be no good prediction yet and especially skulks seem to teleport around, i'm absolutely sure that will become better, and i think it has something todo with the physics engine.
so no worries, everything will get better, this is a beta.
NS2 should run 60 FPS on good computers.
What is your computer? It might be terrible and nothing a game developer can do will ever fix that.
Desktop gets 60+ @ 1080p.
Must be your PC sp1ce. Something to do with it anyways.

PaiSand , with your constant harping on about new posters it looks like you are trying to troll the newcomers all the time, yeah sure some may be trolls but I suggest instead of attacking new posters you report them to the mods and let the mods decide mate, otherwise it looks like NS2 has a hostile fanboi issue.
Just give the guys time and i'm sure that you'll find the optimizations that will make the game more enjoyable for you.
