No sound in NS2

Per the title and description, I am unable to hear anything in Natural Selection II. I just moved to a new apartment, so I obviously had to reconnect all my speakers. I am able to hear sound in everything else including other Steam games, so I ruled that out. It appears to just be NS2.
I currently use the Logitech 5.1 speakers; however, I have to list it as 7.1 to get all the speakers to work. I recall this exact thing happening before for a different Steam game, but, I'm not sure what I did to fix it.
Any suggestions? Should I uninstall then reinstall NS2?

If you have Windows 7, double check you haven't accidentally muted NS2 itself (click the sound icon in the tray -> Mixer), and of course that sound is enabled in options.
