That explains the lego weapons that make the game feel like a rehash of borderlands.
7x7ft crosshair, lmao.

He's implying that the game has been dumbed down for consoles.

    probably he is right!

ns1 was capable of being an esport title (hard training made you better and you could just OWN - the only limit where you and your effort)
ns2 ... well ... lets see how deep you can dive in and go GODLIKE

well... sorry for that they dumped the LINUX version of the game...

and an ultrafastpaced fps like ns1 was on console hahaha, well i hope for them, that they don't play vs pc gamers.
    they wont like it ^^

I don't think you have to worry about UWE dumbing down their baby... I'm pretty sure these guys live and breathe PC gaming. If they want to venture out and make the game available for other platforms as well.. more power to them. But I sincerenly doubt they'd allow their flagship game to be anything other than perfect to their own standards.

I was cheerful this stake got so more reciprocation, because I truly equivalent it. I issue to it from time to minute when I'm wondering what the rascality I'm doing with my brio. In it, I ask myself erstwhile again why measurement matters, and turn to the proposition - with the meliorate of whatever of my students - that "literature is the physiologist, and perhaps the exclusive, way to read what it is like to be someone separate than myself."

^ that was awesome. Spam bots ftw.

Ahem. More on topic. What we've seen of the interface so far has definitely been large icons and stuff, which is what the console crowd is more used to.

They aint that big, but I play on windowed mode, so I guess they are smaller to me. They are smaller than what I am used to from ra2 (never played ra2 windowed) ;D.

But I seriously hope they wont tweak the game for consoles in any way that affect pc gaming, I can understand big buttons, but if they force computer players to use joysticks I'll get really sad :P. Doubt they will do that tho xD

I'm playing on PC and consoles 50/50 of the time and I really can't see where NS2 is geared toward consoles...

close range combat movement against a skulk (or as a skulk) will have to be substantially modded for a console. - I guess they could do that with a hit box or some sort of auto aim. I think the rest could be handled with console controls without nerfing gameplay.

You're completely right. By considering PC our default platform, focusing on a PC-only launch in order to make the PC version as good as possible, and wanting to support modding as much as we can, we are absolutely abandoning PC in favour of consoles.

Given that you joined just to make a bad joke, I'm going to consider this a troll attempt and lock it.
