<div class="IPBDescription">ps3 game I've been sucked into recently</div>so for the past month my computer has been out of commission, (my psu fried just about everything in it) so I've been playing a lot of ps3. namely, Demon's Souls.
It's one of the more difficult RPG's out from the guys that made 3d Dot Game Heroes. It's pretty cool, and incredibly deep as far as RPGs go. Also has a really interesting and fun multiplayer aspect that involves invading other people's worlds to fight them, or being brought in to help the other player.
Another cool aspect is that you can level up to something around 780 levels, but you don't necessarily need to grind or anything like that since when you beat the game, you can start it over and it gets more and more difficult each time. Also there are weapons and spells that are impossible to get until your 2nd or even 3rd playthrough.

there's also a sequel to it coming out call Project Dark, but not for a while.
If there are any players here let me know! what level are you/what game are you on? I'd be interested in doing some pvp or coop.
I'm currently level 105, and I just started New Game + the other day. (beat it once)

all I'm going to say is my buddy got my other buddy demon souls for Christmas just because he knows how difficult it was, and after seeing said friend rage after long level proclaimed it all worth it...
most people spend 90% of the game in their dead form, since there's a ring that ups your health to 75% instead of 50%.
I probably had the most trouble on those first 2 levels that were described in the video, but once I got the hang of the game it became a lot more fun. There are incredibly frustrating moments in the game, but once you get through it you do feel a great sense of accomplishment.
PvP is also a lot of fun and can get very intense, especially since it can happen at just about any time.
I watched the whole thing, although it was a different one iirc and it was just one long video. I couldn't find it again even after some googling :/
Crazy fun to watch someone just fly through it, but you can tell it's really hard by the few hits he actually receives which almost always does 50%+ damage.
Of course, I suppose you could always play the whole game in soul form...
That said, I loved playing demon's souls and would gladly play any sequel.
