<div class="IPBDescription">NOT COOL!</div> A couple things here.

I was playing a game a few days ago on H20-4 I think. And noticed a lerk just hanging out in the base shooting its darts (whatever their called) at our hive, I though nothing of it until in the middle of our game our hive disappears, been killed without the voice informing us of "Your Hive is Under Attack!" or "Your Hive is Dieing." The aliens had all 3 Hives when this started happening. And our second hive disappeared, and I noticed the lerk in our base again. I then went to the Observe Match mode. I watched the lerk’s there was two now, but anyways after a little while they destroyed this hive.. This was very ghey. I typed status in my console and went to take a screenshot of their wonids, but I hadn’t binded my snapshot key yet to a Fkey.. I went to bind it to a key and they left the server.. Sucks I didn’t get it, but afterwards I made my own LAN server with a friend and tried what I saw these lerk’s do and I accomplished killing my own hive.

I would like to know if you can fix this, I know that there is no Friendly Fire on the server I was on, nor could any other attack kill the hive; I tried biting it, leaping at it and everything. Only thing I didn’t try was evolving into a fade and trying the acid rockets, gorg spit didn’t hurt structures either. Only the lerk darts work. Not only the Hive, but the lerk could take out any other structure as well. If you cant change it, or “its part of how the game was intended to play” can you make all the marine weapons hurt their structures.. I’ve noticed if an alien has invaded a base it is all too easy for them to spam grenades at you and not hurt any or their structures, but successfully take you out. I think that it unfair and should be changed.

FYI to all you guys, if you find someone in the server your playing in doing this make sure you have a Fkey bound to snapshot, i.e. bind f1 snapshot. In your console type ‘status’ (w/o the ‘) then hit your f1 key (button in example above) or in your console type snapshop.

PS: You do not need rcon to do this.

you know while you're typing 'status' in console. you can just type 'snapshot' in console too

LMGs atleast hurt marine structures... oops perhaps I shouldn't have said that.

Cause I destroyed all our spawn pads once using the LMG,... cause we had lost our CC and we wanted to end the game.

You know, you could WRITE down the WonIDs. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

As for shooting your own buildings... NEVER a good idea.

oh, and snapshot is bound to f5 by default, don't know why you'd want to change it again xpoc

Usually it would be like that, but i usualy just go though my config and delete everyhitng and write it to my settings.. (South Paw Here.) I just forgot the snapshot key.
