Why Do Very Few People Recycle?

<div class="IPBDescription">Is it broken?</div> Personally, when I do it, it seems to give me a shot of resources. However no one seems to listen when I tell em we got a lot of extra buildings, and why not recycle some (since we are barely breaking 10 resources). This includes games where there are 4 prototype labs right next to each other in the base (is this some strategy I don't know of ?) There are often clusters of observatories also (3 next to each other).

I think it's mostly lack of understanding. And yes, there are a few things that cannot be recycled.

The delay of seeing it dissapear is intentional though, so that a commander needs to be a bit forward thinking and not just recycle the base instantly for mad cash.

A lot of the time it is broken. Siege turrets and Adv. Turret Facs are a few of the things I often want to recycle, but never can. Many people also don't know you can recycle, which isn't helped by the fact half the buildings don't show the recycle icon.

actually, i had a buggy IP (built to close to wall) so i recycled it, but it didn't go away. A marine walks up to it and "uses" it and i here like the sound of something shutting down, then it disapeared.

The worst thing is when a newbie commander hops into the CC and decides that he doesn't like the way the defenses are set up, and procedes to recycle everything.

    Instant marine death.
