    I'd like to see a miniature hive as the icon.
    Would look better alongside the NS1 logo.

    My Steam list doesn't even have an icon. Is that what we are talking about, or do you mean the shortcut you could find in Windows? Cause I haven't seen that yet since I run through Steam.

    So it does! (That's what I get for leaving my PC on all day)

    Got to agree, they need to work the two "slashes" in to the icon somehow. And stick to alien colours. Who gives a ###### about the stock space marines (not that I don't like playing them of course)..

    I guess that the icon is simply a sideeffect from the official Steam group, and Steam simply used the first available image in there. I'd guess that once the NS2 background image in Steam is being addressed, the icon will be adapted aswell.

    I really think the eye portrait is the way to go. That looks quite good.

    I don't think they should use the fade eye again. since it already was the icon for NS1.
    I do like the slashes as logo. I've tried to make one myself (which took some time to make it look good and to make it transparant :p)
    and I got this as result:

    It's a bit pixelated, but I think that kind of logo would be great for NS2! :D

    I remember being fascinated about the icons for Starsiege: Tribes...man I could have chose Blood Eagle OR Diamond Sword...

    I like all three of those: the eye, TSA logo, and the slashes.

    I don't know why, but my icons never appear to show larger than something likr 48x48 even if the icon is 128x128.

    I made a dual-slashes icon in 128x128 format though. If anyone wants.
