Hello NS2 community!
Over at Gamers United a review of the beta phase of Natural Selection 2 just went up. Obviously I can't unleash the full forces of my criticism as it is beta but I have a look at the overall game and where it is heading. The best games in the industry are those who are willing to both be creative and break away from the herd - and put in some damn hard work! This team has achieved both and I've had a lot of fun and frustration in this game so far. (v162 at time of writing the review!) Read on for some thoughts, insights and experiences into NS2!

You describe exactly that feeling I had in my first NS2 round... and the enthusiasm still holds on.
If the game is finished it will be a doozie!
....but not easy to learn.
Hopefully soon the fun will start to significantly outweigh the frustrations as performance continues to improve, and more bugs are fixed and gameplay balance adjustments are made.
