MAC's - Exploits and buggy

<div class="IPBDescription">Hope this will be addressed in future builds</div>Please tell me that the MAC's will not be able to be parked under Com Chairs / Res Node's in future builds. I see this as a huge problem and seeing it more and more and it is impossible to kill a chair with 6 MAC's underneath repairing.

Also they seem very buggy still not responding to commands or you repeatedly have to issue commands for them to respond. People are also putting them in hives and the constant screaming of the hive is very bothersome.

I know this is far from the most important bug (sound bug is MUCH more of a problem) but it is just one of many things that can be improved and I am sure it will be. You guys are doing a great job.

    Yeah, I see a lot of commanders doing this on purpose so that you can't kill the MAC. It's not fair.

    I was actually going to do a little quote of the Progress list because I remember reading something say "Drifters and Macs leaving the map" or something like that. I am not sure if this is what the bug is but this message was removed and I don't know why.

    I agree that the bug where you can make Macs and Drifters exit the mac is bad and I am pretty sure they will fix this in the future as it is unfair but for now we can use this bug to our advantage.

    Current tactics I use with this bug:

    -Protecting Macs and Drifters
    -Hiding Drifters right next to Tech Nodes so I can capture it instantly
    -Putting Macs under Command Stations to repair


    This bug will obviously be fixed in the future but now use it.

    Obvious bug is obvious, seriously do we need threads like this <img src="http://members.home.nl/m.borgman/ns-forum/smileys/shifty.gif" border="0" class="linked-image" />


    Sure it would be nice to have the waypoints system and the not leaving the map thing they have going, and in some case still going trough walls and stuff actually fixed. But they are as you said so yourself a smaller issue currently. It will get fixed in the end, but not a big priority currently...

    Make a bug report on GetSatisfaction with steps to reproduce, and it will probably be fixed quicker than posting it on the forum.

    hiding macs under objects is only half the problem. Commanders stack macs, which repairs and builds anything under few seconds! Also macs move faster than aliens, and go through walls as well, making aliens hard to catch them.
