For the sake of getting NS players together, I think a free play game/tournament would have been fine. But maybe I'll look at this later :)

If you want NS players to get together, why don't you just play NS which is free. It makes more sense.

I'd love to see a system where forum players sign up and get rostered at random in a team based on relative time locations. That way it's all random and good fun, then in the end you can have zone v zone. ie. best US v EU as a finale.
