<div class="IPBDescription">Blending alien structures with creep</div>They probably are, but just a thought, something that should definitely be in the final game is for the alien structures to look like they are literally growing out of the creep, like they are part of it, attached, not just on top of it. This would greatly add the organic atmosphere of the aliens.

By creep I assume you mean infestation. Currently the infestation is just a prototype, in the finished game odds are infestation will look nothing like it does now.

*On a side note*
When I first read the title of your post, I though you meant giving the aliens the ability to combine two of their structures together. Which would have been a very interesting post to read :)

Couldn't you just have the planned mesh DI grow a certain amount on the structure?
