Running Gorge

<div class="IPBDescription">Problem when sprinting as a gorge</div>I don't know if you are aware of this problem yet (at least it's not in your bugfixes list), but it seems that when you are running as the gorge the mouse movement are ignored. Is this intentional?
Also the "Press F1 to submit feedback" doesn't seem to work on my computer.

I also have a suggestion: when an alien is hurt, wouldn't be great to make it squeal like a dog? (I'm thinking like how dog squeal in STALKER).

thats because the gorge does not sprint, but slide on his belly. The downside of more speed is that you can not change direction.

It's not really a sprint or run but in short bursts will allow you to "BAIL" so to speak from harms way.

The feedback doesn't work for me either but at the right side of the page is the tab for feedback.

    in console type

    cheats 1

    then

    thirdperson 5

Then do the bellyslide, you'll see it in all of its glory.

Hah you have to keep hitting shift followed by a quick jump in repetition to see the gorge's true glory >:)

You can taunt at any time to cancel the slide.

    This is probably unintentional.

Yep, looks/sounds like the little guy has a hairball. I do believe it's the "Z" key in my binds.

To have the in-game feedback inlay, you need to activate the Steam Community in-game option

    It's activated.

Sadly it's still faster (or as fast, faster than walking anyways), safer (less linear path of escape), and more controllable (no giving up direction control) to hop away over and over as a gorge right now, slide is pretty useless right now I'd say, sadly. It reminds me too much of the bunny hopping in HL.

...Uh, in that it's hard to use? There are many words for describing bhopping, but I don't see "useless" often.

    You're confusing the contexts.
"Useless" was referring to the Belly Slide.
"Bhopping comparison" was referring to the Gorge's currently preferred method of escape (jumping around wildly).

I was referring to the slide, not the hopping..

*edit well this post was a unnecessary.. I hadn't refreshed in hours.. eh, either way it's up for deletion if someone with the ability wishes.. though it'd be a nice feature to have for your own posts.. unless I'm unaware of one to do so already myself.
