Game graphic problem

Hi guys, About 4-5 months ago I purchased NS, and graphic was fine...I had it on the highest res & quality setting. Up until recently I open the game and all the graphics are messed up. Please take a look at the screen shots below...note that it's not the image is in bad quality, the screen shot actually reflects how my graphic really look like in game. It's super low res almost seem like graphic is running on "software" (back in cs 1.4 days) Also, I'm only running on window mode cuz it won't let me take Screen shot when im in full screen, the ss turns out black when I copy it. Please look at the screen shot at 100%.

System spec:
AMD Phenom x4 3.4ghz
2x Radeon 5770 xFire
8gig ram

    In the past 4-5 months have you upgraded your graphics card or updated its drivers? Try looking through your Catalyst settings and seeing if you're locked into any options. You should be letting the programs decide your options instead of forcing them. (at least for NS2)

    i think the game was fine up until the recent patch...maybe it's after i got another gpu for xfire.....i disabled xfire and also uncheck all the CCC aliasing options. i set everything to let the game decide what graphic option to use. still no luck.

    Is there anything strange printed out to the log after you exit the game from that main menu?

    by the looks of it....it doesn't look good, but i don't know how to fix it :(

    Actually those look like fairly unimportant missing assets, I think everyone has them, it's like stuff the devs are in the process of making but haven't finished adding yet, they're all things like small effects or textures for small objects or sounds for things that aren't in the game yet, that sort of stuff. Nothing important that I can see.

    That grain effect on your screenshots that you say you see ingame is actually not a bug on your end, it is dust on my screen ;D.

    No but really, I do not see what you are complaining about. Might be cause I run the game set to awful graphics tho.
    Also, you should always run windowed, that way the screen is smaller and you can see other stuff while gaming, and no need to minimize the game to do other stuff.
    The only problem is a bug that happened a few builds ago and was named feature, where the mouse suddenly got locked inside the window, so you have to alt tab and cant just quickly move the mouse out of the screen and do whatever it is you want to do.

    You should find a slider for "Mipmap Detail Level" there, and according to your screenshots it's set to "Performance". However setting the slider to Performance will make all texture rendered blurry and ugly, so the preferred setting there should always be on the "Quality" side.

    Have you tried changing the graphics settings to something lower, restarting the client, and turning it back up?
    Or changing the setting manually in the options.xml?

    Resolution setting is down towards the bottom.

    Does Catalyst CC bias texture LOD below what game specifies? I wonder if game can limit texture LOD here for graphics. (I never touched that part of Direct3D directly, only through wrappers)

    I'd assume the driver (thus the CCC) can do whatever it wants, no matter what a game tells it to do.
