<div class="IPBDescription">sound testing with NS and SMB :D</div>This is just a simple test to work out how the sound system works for Scirra Construct, I'm using this engine/package to create my own game called <a href="http://www.indiedb.com/games/containment" target="_blank">Containment</a>. While testing the sound system, I thought "hey lets expand on <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?s=3415192864057249792&act=Attach&type=post&id=28258" target="_blank">the screenshot</a> I made a <b>long long long</b> time ago for the <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6181" target="_blank">NS in other games thread</a>,"

So here it is, about 2 evenings working on it... Also it's Windows DX9 only, I'm afraid...

<div align='center'>The famous world-1-1 (with loads of features/BG sprites lacking, no coins, score, powerups, animation needs work and there's no death)

<center><object width="450" height="356"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/jk8ABVQseyE"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/jk8ABVQseyE" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="450" height="356"></embed></object></center>
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jk8ABVQseyE" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jk8ABVQseyE</a>

Movement: WASD (well AD for now)
Shooting: Right Control
Taunt: F
Jump: Space
Medkit: Q and Ammo: E (might have the comm drop it or something)
Quit/exit game: Escape
The jumping is too high, I know. Jetpack powered marine instead perhaps, he is wearing one :P</div>

I might expand on it some more, I've always loved crossovers. I do have an idea to have SE Marine and Vanilla Marine (using NS2 sounds instead of NS perhaps) in there as a kind of Mario and Luigi... But only if UWE doesn't send the TSA to confiscate my cookies! I like my cookies too much for that!

Oh yeah here's the file, original NES RES IS TINY (you can maximize the screen though which also blurs it all, for now...). Just extract somewhere and run it. I've scanned with Avast and Dropbox probably has some scanning shizzle as well...

Setting up base in that world vs an ever increasing and dangerous amount of enemies would be awesome, too bad I dun know how to program multiplayer stuff for this engine. Something about Phyton, not Monty!

Also we need a "NS2 in other games" thread :O
