<div class="IPBDescription">just started, nothing special</div>Started work on this about a week ago. Would have more done but Portal 2 owns me. Anyway, just a start. This is the ready room basic geometery with an ambient light to see. Like I said, just the basics. I will update later.

    not a whole lot to comment on here, lets see something textured and lit with some props to break up the geometry.

    also, watch your level over level (think "if i was commander, could i medpack spam marines everywhere they go?")

    Yeah, I agree, very much a work in progress. Actually surprised anyone commented. Ill mostly finish the ready room off today and post a screen.

    Okay, firs thing is this. You have light, but no light sources. I feel like the map generates its own light, and has the ability to do so all over. The walls are a bit too flat, take away some of the rhythm from the walls. They're the same thing over and over again.

    Yeah I agree, not very happy with this ready room. I will probly do one more re-work and if that doesn't please me I will scrap and start over. Thanks for input.

    I think it's a good start, has a bunker feel to it. Personally i think ready rooms are over rated but I have been impressed with some of them in the past. If you are indeed going for that bunker feel your moving in the right direction. Maybe some cracks in the lower walls to show some damage due to aging. Don't be afraid to experiment with light source and color, shadows add a lot of interest.
