<div class="IPBDescription">Thank god there are none here, I think..</div> Don't you hate it that in a forum, you prove a mod wrong or say something slightly wrong to them and they flame or ban you? I'm glad that this forum has picked up some non-aggressive or abusive moderators.

    The best mods are respected members of the community. I look at mods as being "respected leaders of the community". Not only are they more helpful to those irratating n00bs, but they know more then many players about questions(perhaps being on or having contact with the team), and try to be more friendly and informative in general.

    Well this is the PERFECT WORLD description. Some mods in some forums are just non-deserving players who got lucky. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Maybe an interesting idea for some HL communities would be to have veteran players become mods, and as payment for their hardwork(and competence!), they get the option to help the team beta test the latest release.
