<div class="IPBDescription">Would you buy it?</div> I know they would have to change some things, like sounds and the commander interface 'cause they are too much like Starcraft. ('least I think they would have to.) But, if NS went retail and was no longer a free d/l would you buy it?     Just to clarify amidst the speculation, Flayra has unequivocally stated that NS will <b>always</b> be available for free d/l regardless of the retail situation.

    Retail mods are stupid.

    All it does is make nineyearold wankers with their mommy's checkbook flock into the game and start laming.

    Make them purchase HL then download it. The extra work required to get it will kill off a lot of lamers and immature people.

    definitely YES. i payed big buckaroos for NeverWinterNights and WC3.. and they BOTH wouldn't install. had to get a HACKED version of WC3 and use the serial of my bought version to play it.

    with that off my chest, i WOULD pay for it. cuz the work is excellent. the community is superb. i personally think that Flayra and the gang DESERVE monetary gain from this.

    altho the point about lamers coming in is certainly true.

    If they offered as like a 20 buck mod addon or something. i'd **obscenity** it up (if i didn't already have it). well.. 20-35 is my price range i think. never again wc3 or nwn.

    i guess my opinion on buying it is 2 fold.
    1) i think the dev team et al deserve the coin. alot of 'pro' developers get paid and put out CRAPPY games *cough*Daikatana*cough*.
    2) it's original and a fantastic game.
