Low Fps! :(

Well I like the concept of this game however for some reason it performs unreasonbly slow on my system.
On average I can get about 30 fps max... but when I get in a fight it turns 10 and under... and this is rather F*$% Up every thing else runs absolutely fine. Better than fine. All but natural selection

Well here is the kicker... I do not have a low end system. Here are my specs:

1.666 ghz AMD Athlon XP 2000
128 Geforce 4 440
512 DDR Ram
I am currently runing WINDOWS 98

Is there anything I can do ? I cannot fully enjoy this game till this is figured out. <!--emo&--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->

I would suggest to try to run the game in Direct 3d. My friend had a 1.2 ghz w/ a ATI 9000 Pro and when I ran in OPEN GL i would get 40 fps out side my base but inside i would get 8fps. I switched to Direct 3d and everything ran smooth from there.

    Just something to try.
