It works like NS1... it can target things through the walls.

Also if pustules make it in then aliens got a significant nerf.
It seems as though marines got a significant pair of buffs while aliens maybe became less broken? I'd be surprised if it's very balanced.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
A lot of issues with aliens got fixed a big one being the Skulk bite... actually being able to kill marines makes a huge difference. I also think while marines got a lot of "new" stuff they play a little slower on the tech front then before this build so it evens out.

This Build is more about getting 'new' content in to the game. Yes, there is more content to come in Onos and Pustules. They need to get things operational and 'in game' before it can be tweaked. Even if it means 'breaking' game balance in place prior 178.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Oh yes I know that, it's just harder to test all of the new content if the game becomes horribly unbalanced in the process.

I think we'll be seeing Frenzy and Swarm upgrades in build 178, supposedly for all lifeforms.

Improve the frame rate and online play and I'll re-buy the game for sure!
cant wait. is it on the way to valve already?
Gonna play a round or two with 177 for fond memories!
Also noticed "mineshaft server assert" in the progress page. Maybe mineshaft made it in?
