Gorge infestation

<div class="IPBDescription">make it grow</div>I propose that if a gorge sprays infestation to the same place multiple times, it will increase that existing infestation patch size, rather than adding another patch. Each time the size is increased, it would reset the countdown for the patch going away (currently at 60 seconds).

Once the patch reaches the size of "commander infestation" patches (after 30-60 sprays), it would no longer get any larger. However, spraying it would still reset the countdown. At this time, the patch would attempt to link to the "commander infestation network". If the patch is close enough to an existing pustule, and there was no "commander infestation" at the current location, it would create a pustule and link to the network, thereby making the infestation permanent.

I think this would address the gorge infestation performance concerns, while allowing gorges potential to play a more permanent role in the infestation process.

I like the idea, but I dont like the amount of suggested sprays needed (no idea why ppl who suggest stuff often try to come up with numbers that most likely will have to be tested and modified).

I think that each spray would use some sort of formula to add to the radius of the gorge patch, where the bigger radius, the less it adds. After a while it adds less to the radius than the infestation shrinks by itself, making it a sort of max radius (altough more gorges should theoreticlly be able to raise this).
When the patch reaches a <strike>pimple</strike> pustule, it connects to it (which if I understood the system correctly, includes creating a new <i>pimple</i> at the gorge patch).

Because it is part of the suggestion. Suggestions can be changed/tweaked. Nobody ever thinks that their suggestion will be implemented verbatim without playtesting.

Why not make Gorges puke out pustules? would make them extremely valuable again..
