lifeform/structure under attack

<div class="IPBDescription">too common</div>Currently, any alien being attacked anywhere causes the "<b><i>lifeform under attack</i></b>" audio message to play. Similarly, any alien structure being attacked causes the "<b><i>structure under attack</i></b>" audio message to play.

These messages are played so often that they lose most meaning for the team. For example, does everyone in the area need to know that skulks near the marine base are being attacked? This information should be true the whole game...in fact, if it <u>isn't</u> happening that a lifeform is under attack, something is wrong. Similarly, if a combat gorge has hydras or other structures under attack, they are probably doing their job. There is no reason to bother everyone about this.

<b>Suggestion:</b>

Rather, these two messages should only play in special cases, such as when a "special" alien structure, or an alien near a hive is being attacked. That way, those who hear it would immediately take notice.

If this isn't feasible, at least provide the ability to turn these two audio messages off.

    Maybe it should sound from the direction of the event so you can at least tell which way to look to see where things are happening?

    Only play the sound if
    1. Its a hive under attack, or
    2. The alien unit/structure under attack is in the same room as you

    Also, it would be nice if friendly units/structures under attack flashed on the minimap.

    Not entirely sure about same room - if it's in the same room you probably don't need an announcement anyway, but if it's in the next room you could go help. Instead have it within a certain proximity.

    Should maybe also display a text notification labelled with the room that this event is taking place in, the same way that team chat is labelled.
