Request: Improved commander notifications

Hey, at the moment I find it really frustrating playing as commander or as marines because it's difficult to get the commanders attention. It's hard to see when a marine is requesting a medpack unless you are near enough to hear the medpack sound. I'd be good if the minimap flashed and a little medic and ammo symbols came up when they were low.

Also, an option to have their health and ammo shown on the HUD at all times would be really helpful.

    I agree; allowing marines to interact with their commander's view would greatly increase the communication between the two parties.

    Maybe there could also be a "look here, commander" command that Marines can use to highlight an open resource point or damaged power node or something?

    Ehm, if a Player requests for Medic ( or work by using sayings) it is showed on the bottom right, just Press space to get ti tge Marine requesting simething.
    It was atleast so the last time i was Marinecommander.

    Yeah, I know this, but when lots of stuff is going on it can be hard to see. It would be better if icons were actually displayed on the overview and on the minimap to signal the commander. It'd be much easier than having to read through a list of notifications.

    What it should look like:

    1) Minimap is pinged with appropriate icon for meds, ammo, orders, along with the audio cue.
    2) The "information queue" should have corresponding icons to match the requests.
    3) 3 individual buttons for each request in bottom right (like it is now).

    I'm sure the HUD is going to get a lot of polish later in development, and once squads are more integrated with the gameplay. I'm more worried about the weirdness\inconsistency with dropping ammo/medpacks and dancing around squad bubbles when dropping meds or ammo.

    It'll come in time.

    I wish I could find my older posts (Any way to see all the posts that I've done?) to pull up some information... But there has been some ideas going out there with pics on how to improve the marine signposts. e.g. having the word "Attack" or "Defend" under the waypoint so the marines can see what there task is. The dev tracker also said yesterday that they were actually implementing the alien signposts finally.
