<div class="IPBDescription">Auto generated based on linked gate.</div>I tried search multiple times and kept getting a database error (error 134 -> class_db_mysqli_client.php, line 611).
If this has been discussed before, please delete.
When pointing at a phase gate, its destination appears along with its health information.
Great for when you first join a server with phase gates or simply forget the order.
Would also work well with the <a href='index.php?showtopic=113843'>phase gate priority</a> idea.

Fairly straight forward to add in.

Initially I thought you meant you could physically see your destination which would doubtless cause frame rate issues, but this is simple and elegant.
Didn't word it the best did I?
No matter.
Code is <a href='index.php?showtopic=113850'>here</a> if anyone would care to take a look and/or use it (*cough* Unknown Worlds *cough*).
Ex. 1st PG @ Marine Start, 2nd PG @ Heliport, 3rd PG @ Generator. 3rd PG always leads back to 1st PG?
This will be good information for Marines indeed.
it is possible to use the code clientside and still play with everyone?
Yes they do.
May see about fiddling with the ability to set their priority (other thread).
This is definitely a good idea though. Submit it on getSatisfaction?
1. Walk up to a teleport
2. Press use, map appears
3. Select the destination with your mouse
4. Teleport!
No matter.

Just make it into a mod and people would easily be able to use it right now. Its fairly simple to do and if you uploaded the lua files you modified somewhere, I could put it together quickly.
Edit: I put together a video showing the mod: <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsnMc-CnpXE" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsnMc-CnpXE</a>
Also, it only works on listen servers (it gives an 'Client and Server differ' error when trying to join a server). However, if you want to try it out, here's the info from <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/index.php?showtopic=113850&st=0#entry1853915" target="_blank">his other thread</a>.

Download: <a href="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5490563/mod_pg.zip" target="_blank">http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5490563/mod_pg.zip</a>
How to install:
<ul><li>Extract the mod files to your "/Steam/steamapps/common/natural selection2/" folder</li><li>Put "-game mod_pg" (without the quotation marks) in your launch options for NS2 (i.e. right click Natural Selection 2 in your games library and select properties, then under General, select 'Set launch options...")</li></ul>
<b>NOTE:</b> This changes only seem to work for a listen server. Any server I try joining gives me a 'Client and Server differ' error. Maybe this is because you made changes to NS2Utility.lua?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
