Overgrowth, I edited my post. If its only for standard edition, then it would explain why I couldn't redeem Overgrowth.

NS2 SE pre-oders should receive an email with the subject "Your Overgrowth key is ready!", there's a link in there which will take you to "Your Overgrowth Alpha Page" showing you "Your secret alpha key"
The NS2 SE key should work however, on the page aeroripper posted :/

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Odd, I've got the SE and overgrowth says my key isn't eligible.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
IIRC, this was back before NS2 needed its separate steam key. There was the <u>alpha</u> key that you first received with the SE, then later (a few months? a year? I can't remember) you had another e-mail sent to you with your steam-compatible activation key to download it off steam. I don't know if you pre-ordered the SE way back in 2009ish, but this was way back before NS2 was even on steam to download. I'm assuming this is the alpha key that site is referencing.

This. You would need to find your original key you ordered. If you do a retreival on the system now, it will send out the new Steam key. I have no idea if the guys can look up your original keys anymore.
I was actually able to do the key retrieval with <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/retrieve" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/retrieve</a> and it gave me my 2 keys one for NS2 and one for the black armor. I used the NS2 key and it activated overgrowth just fine for me about an hour ago. Guess your mileage may vary.

Interesting, I get this:
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Oops, your NS2 Key is not eligible.
Sorry, but it looks like your NS2 key is not eligible for some reason! Possible reasons: you've already redeemed it, or you ordered after the promo started. Each preorder can only be redeemed once.
If you would like help, please contact us here and we will get you set up ASAP. We will get everything sorted out eventually, please be patient. :)

I bought the special edition so i Assumed i was eligible so this goes to show that not ALL special Edition keys work with that deal. OR as stated in the error box " you ordered after the promo started"....lol....hmmm, so if i ordered after the promo STARTED my NS2 SE Key is invalid...hahahaha.
got a reply on my email. <!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->The NS2 OG deal was a short duration promotion that ran about a year and a half ago. The promotion is no longer redeemable.
Thanks for your support.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Wait, wait, what are you saying? Are you saying that if you got the NS2 special edition (during alpha?), you got a free copy of overgrowth? I mean... I have the special edition... but I don't remember when I bought it.
Edit: Using this link, <a href="http://www.wolfire.com/pack?ns2=1" target="_blank">http://www.wolfire.com/pack?ns2=1</a> , tried, but it says "Oops, your NS2 Key is not eligible. Sorry, but it looks like your NS2 key is not eligible for some reason! Possible reasons: you've already redeemed it, or you ordered after the promo started. Each preorder can only be redeemed once.' which makes sense since I bought it at the end of July last year, whereas the "Organic Preorder Pack" started in January last year (?).
Just means I'll have to buy Overgrowth separately...

Also, I thought the overgrowth + NS2 deal was for overgrowth + NS2 standard, not special. Someone feel free to correct or concur.

Now, however, my NS2 key yields an invalid error at that page.
:(
sent an email to wolfire about it, and I'll tell you what they said when they answer.
btw, when did the offer expire?
