You already know if the patch is going to hit either today, or at the end of the week. How about sharing that information? Rather than us sitting in the dark till you tweet "About to start (hopefully final) playtest of it then we'll release!"

Sharing is caring, friends. I don't need the exact date, but "next week" is pretty unclear on when that is.

    They don't give you set dates because they don't want to miss the date and have the community crucify them and alternatively they don't want to rush a patch out for a set date and have it worse than the last patch due to horrible bugs.


    Let's have some class please and let these wonderful people develop the game they love for the community they love.

    Smells trollish.

    Since they made that tweet last week saying "next week", the patch will come out this week. How much clearer do you want it without given out an exact date?

    Already told you how clear I want them to become, beginning of the week / end of the week. There's a lil' difference between tuesday and friday.

    They'll tell us when they feel its almost ready. The vague time frame of "next week" gives them more flexibility.

    Yes there is. Very little difference.

    There is, however, a MAJOR difference between suggesting or asking something of someone AND commanding it.

    If someone spoke to you the way you just did, I don't think you'd be handing over information all smiles.

    The patch will probably come by Friday if everything goes well (as tweeted last week). Sounds like this is a bit heavier on features than previous smaller builds so will probably miss the usual Tuesday release.

    Also watch the progress page especially for a relatively good indicator of when the patch is nearing completion. This community is getting a bit spoiled by the weeklyish updates to the game and access to the internal design doc and code tracker :D. Patience.
