Dedicated Server Recommended Specifications

I know that we are still in the beta stage, but, are there any set goals for recommended specs for a dedicated server? Right now I'm running a dedi on XP 64bit, Core 2 Duo E6300, 8GB Ram, & 2 10,000RPM Raid0 Raptors. When the number of players is below 10 it is quite usable, however, once more people join even though most of the pings stay green everyone starts teleporting.

tl; dr Recommend specs for a dedicated server machine?

That Core2 (1.86 GHz) is probably too low. AFAIK, current NS2 beta only uses one core, so a high single-core speed is better than a dual or quad-core with a lower speed. I suspect the really good dedicated servers have single-core speeds of 3+GHz.

High mhz and or cpu cache. Probably the mhz though.
