<div class="IPBDescription">You have two main attacks in the same Primary Attack.</div><b><!--sizeo:5--><span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->Idea:<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec--></b>
I was thinking about how you could have two main attacks, and in by this I mean being able to left click while being any melee kharaa and you do the normal damage at the normal attack rate. But if you right click you do more damage but you have to wait longer to do another attack. Included with the attack rating I was mostly thinking of this as being only for the Skulk, but I think this could be implemented into other melee kharaa sided attacks.

<b><!--sizeo:4--><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->Attack Types:<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec--></b>
<i>Left-click</i>: Normal Attack
<i>Right-Click</i>: Power Attack

<b><!--sizeo:4--><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->Skulk Mouth Animation, Damage, Attack speed, and explanation:<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec--></b>
<i>The Normal Attack</i>: Would only use a little force so it would only do a average damage. Would only close the mouth a bit because it wouldn't take much force to that amount of damage. High attacks per minute, but low damage per minute.
<i>The Power Attack</i>: Would use a lot of force so it would do more damage. Would close the mouth fully or almost because it takes the whole mouth power to do this kind of damage, and so it would force people to use it wisely or have the chance of missing and getting disoriented. Low attacks per minute, but higher damage per minute.

<b><!--sizeo:4--><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->Upgrades:<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec--></b>
This could be used as a possible power balance early game OR late game balance.
<i>Early Game</i>: Start with the Attack Upgrades, or its a quick upgrade. (Just Skulk)
<i>Late Game</i>: One of the final Attack Upgrades and its for all Kharaa.

<b><!--sizeo:4--><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->Pros:<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec--></b>
-A new source of balancing the game out early game or late game when necessary
-A use of the full mouth close animation

<b><!--sizeo:4--><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->Cons:<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec--></b>
-Might be to much work to do
-Interfere with other buttons/macros

Please comment on this and say what you think. Be nice and tell me if this was already discussed before.

Thanks!

    I like using the rmb as the movement ability, and changing attack takes too long.
    but I guess leap/blink could be moved to some other universal movement ability button, just have to get used to it.
    might even get better, because currently you can't leap while having parasite selected, but that is an unrelated issue.

    Better idea, if you right click you do a falcon punch.

    Pardon my ignorance, but what is the "CS knife syndrome"?

    citate: <i>"For all the Counterstrike junkies out there who like to take their obsession over the top effectively confusing the normal folk out there. Need to catch the bus, your class, last call at the bar or can't control your bladder any longer?? Just whip out your knife and enjoy increased mobility as you reach your destination in half the time!!"</i>

    Wrong one...

    It's when you only use the more powerful attack (stab), even though it's slower (than slash). So you get people running at each other, stabbing, then running back.
    Although with the melee vs ranged dynamic, you'd probably only use the higher DPS (e.g. fade swipe instead of fade stab), so it's the same, but it could be in reverse.
    Basically, there's one clearly better option, so you only use that one option.
    I didn't have a name for it, so I made one up.

    Made up phrase that nobody understands! Lawyer-ed!

    I actually wouldn't mind a "heavy" attack for the Skulk that kills marines in one hit, but requires the Skulk to stand still (like the Fade Stab attack). It would accentuate the Skulk's sneaky "ambusher" role. Fade, on the other hand, with its sonic boom Blink, is as stealthy as a hoon in a car with its mufflers knocked out.

    This oddly sounds familiar to the Focus Evolution....
