<div class="IPBDescription">hard to pretty the place up</div>Played a handful of long games on build 180 as gorge and its a lot of fun to pretty up the place with cysts and hydras in nice spots. If possible, it would help to extend the range of their placement so gorges' can easily place them on ceilings and walls to place them in more strategic spaces. Really digging the cyst mechanics but sometimes its frustrating trying to place them on the walls instead of on the ground where they're easily noticed and killed. It would introduce some interesting vertical firefights as well.
Obviously you would make its range within the immediate area so you couldn't spawn cysts half a room away. Not enough people are taking advantage of the environment currently when considering placement. This would go a long way towards helping that.

Eventually gorge's could probably just spit their chambers onto the wall and they grow from there? It's getting close to the original concept art though:

Yea spitting em would be reasonable you could hide them to "compensate" for lack of sturdyness. If you ask me though, the HP is just fine res cost or energy requiments should be adjusted. I dont wanna spent 95% of marine playtime running and hacking structures.

Projecting vomit placement should be implemented, and pustules should gradually sink into the infestation, until they can only be found with the scanner or the flamethrower.
