<div class="IPBDescription">how would ns2 play without them?</div>I wanna know! Could UWE please take them out for one build to see if the games play better? Or make them like cost 100% more then they do now.
Tbh i think it would make it more of a teamwork base game. If you want to defend something then u need teamwork. Not aimbots.

It doesn't feel right as a skulk walking into and hall where there are 3 sentries and no humans and u die. At least make it so a server admin could disable them.

Don't walk into halls full of sentries as a skulk then.

Take something other than the free starting class and go around the turrets to kill them.

The only time turrets are a problem is when you're attacking bases, and to be honest they're kind of the only thing that makes base defence as a marine possible at this point.

I bet you any money you could solve 90% of the problems with turrets by adding a little wall around the power node in summit marine start. Suddenly ending the game becomes a lot easier.

one thing that annoys me are these sentry trains that stem from every path outward of the human base.

So attack one from the side, kill a couple of sentries, then go backwards and kill all the other ones.

Or better yet, kill a power node along the way to knock out a huge slice of sentry coverage.
