I do still have mayor lags, although my ping normally is around 60. My drivers are up to date, i have Physics installed (although i have an ati card) and my computer should be good enough (Graphical settings don't affect the lags).

There are some new servers with 16 player limits that simply cannot handle the load. And they fill up, exceed their true capacity, and make new players think that the game is full of warping and rubberbanding. If that happens, it means the game server is overloaded but it is not exactly a game problem.
FPS slowdown when facing certain directions and degrading performance after successive game rounds IS a game code issue.

jeah. Currently the server side, while much more optimized than earlier in the beta, is no where near optimized. The addition of cysts added more load to the servers, which creates that lag, even if client fps is quite good.... but hey, it gets better with nearly every patch :) but it would really be awesome to see server tickrate in the server browser, too choose well performing servers.

*Cough cough* I think I sorta misunderstood, is it network lag or FPS lag? If it's network lag, it might be because the server's hardware ain't good (or cus of bad optimization in game code) enough to run with so many players. If its FPS lag, try updating your drivers! I think there is a new catalyst, 10.7. Correct me if I'm wrong :) I'm using a AMD card myself, but it's a 6850 HD. I'm currently on vacation, so I'm unable to check what catalyst I'm running.
Oh and if it's FPS lag, please tell us about your screen res! :)

I'm not sure if this is correct, but it could be possible you run out of VRAM. But as The_Ranger said, it helps.
