<div class="IPBDescription">4 lmgs taking down an Onos? HELL YEAH!</div> Oh man, had a brilliant game last night playing as the marines.
When I jumped on the server and joined the marines, we had just finished taking away their third hive. There were obviously some upgraded fades and onos roaming about, but atleast we wouldn't get onos coming back repeatedly any more!
2 Onos came into our base and start ripping everything up, we took them both down with the use of a few hmgs and the last of our working turrets. One more came and finished off our armoury, and every live marine before falling to the turret fire.
We all respawned with the emergency beacon and 4 of us ran to the base entrance (dunno the map name, but it is the one with the Sewer and Ventilation System hives in it) to keep on guard while the others rebuilt. Sure enough one more Onos came along. We fired as we retreated into our base, and spread out so he couldn't get all of us at once. Everyone in the base started firing too. The onos, obviously hurting ran off. I saw it come to a stop around the corner with the motion tracking and start yelling for people to hurry up and follow me. Us four lmgs ran after the onos and started pounding the place where he must've cloaked. He made a bolt for it and once again we gave chase. He got into a large room and cloaked again, and he had run away to quick for us to know exactly where he was. We started painting the walls and eventually started hitting him. He makes a run at us but falls quickly.
That was such an awesome feeling... We were all screaming into our mics and shooting the the dead ono's body... We were on fire for the rest of that round, and ended up working together quite well!
