I appreciate that you're a big NS fan and careful with your money. The game isn't done nor optimized yet, but we'd love to have you giving feedback now.

So I sent you a free copy of the NS2. Welcome!<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Woah, this has to be the most incredible dev team I have ever seen... You guys respond in topics a lot, staying in the community and now have proved you actually do care! Most company's do respond occasionally, but never actually listen to it's players.

You my good chum are not going to have fun. lol, but good luck to you.

This game as it stands is very CPU limited, I hope that they soon start star programming to use other cores as I am sure it would help alleviate performance issues for a wide variety of people.

As it stands however, my system runs NS2 with ease for the most part with the game on high playing at 1920 X 1200. I would seriously recommend people overclocking (or read up and learn to) their CPU's, it will provide a very large increase in your frame rate especially later in the game.

    For those that are wondering

    i7 970 O/C to 4.2 Ghz
    Asus Sabertooth X58 Mobo
    12GB Corsair Vengeance Memory
    ATI 5870 Vapor-X 1GB (I believe NS2HD has a 5870 as well?)
    Intel 1000/CT Dedicated Nic

I run on a Intel dualcore at 3Ghz, 4 gb ram, and a gtx 260.
And I never see any performance issues (from my end), I even run other games in the background sometimes, Like dow2.

The only thing that's annoying sometimes is the server tickrates.
