This has to be one of my most favorite features from valves games.

Auto-Retry that can be set to join the server as soon as a slot is available. What is also remarkable about this feature is that it can be left running while playing in a different server.

I would love to see something like this in NS2, because the current server browser feels rather lacking.

    IMO, its the best server-browser feature in source. However, I wouldn't expect this anytime soon.

    You can already do this if you have friends in the server.

    Enter NS2 game ( For a quick launch ) Press Shift+Tab on keyboard for steam overlay, right click on a friend in the friends list thats in your favorite NS2 Server, Click join game. If servers full it gives you the image at top of OP Click auto retry.
