Long term and short term turrets

I think it would open up may more attack options if there could be long and short term turrets instead of only one kind. The short term could be geared further towards supporting advancements and could build faster, do less damage, but timeout. Whereas the long term turrets could be used more for defense, deal more damage but take more time to build. Only having one type of turret really limited what can be done with them.
