<div class="IPBDescription">reason and solution</div>I've already posted this, but I think it became more serious. so i'm gonna write about the problem that I have at NS2 again.
I used to be in Germany, but for vacation, yesterday i came to my hometown, in which my computer is. And tried and trying to play NS2, but i have serious problem, that I didn't even have at earlier build that I played latestly in May.
Hmm.. It's hard to explain. Almost everytime I play NS2, all seems to go well at the main menu and loadin screen, but after being in readyroom and about to play game, everything messes up.
How can I describe... I'm gonna tell you that everything that I did do go backward again!
When I press W, it seems to go forward, but soon back to original position.
Just everything looks like that i'm stucked at something, but most awkward thing is that after I join marine side by using console (alien, cannot respawn at all.), i could respawn, but everything goes backward again. When I fire, the bullets soon come back and make the magazine that I already used be full. When I switch weapon, it seems to be switched, but again back to LMG. Every orders that I used come back to first position and condition.
Most importantly, people say that my playermodel looks like floating. I think that you can guess how it looks like!
Please guys and dev teams, help me. Cannot play at all because I cannot do anything! Keyboard is OK that the NS2 can handle what I pressed, but all I ordered just come back to original position! Again : Shooting fire - Ammos decreased -> Ammos increased, all the bullets come back. Go forward - Go backward just like i'm stucked on something.
Go backward - Go forward again to original position, of course!
WTH is happening to me? I've reinstalled for 5 times.

That is all I know you may try.
Try:
Completely delete NS2 from your system, then re-install NS2. Come back and let us know if your still having the issue.

Yes! Definately. That video of Bad Company 2, yes. Rubberbanding. But mine seems to not be able to even move a bit.

I just came here started to play game 2 days ago. But, Resistance & Liberation, a Half-Life 2 mod, seems to work pretty good.

Rightclick on NS2 in the Steammenu and choose settings search there for defragmentation and integrity check do em both.
Go in NS2 and go to the Options. Then go to bindings and change to standart.
And btw vizions he wrote that he reinstalled it 5 Times

Ah, that one... sorry, the language of my steam is Deutsch so I couldn't figure out what you say. Okay, i'll do the things. I hope it works!

And btw look that the Firewall doesn't block Steam or NS2.
But only on 1 server, my ping and fps was fine and my friend wasnt having any issues at all.
Maybe try playing on a different server, just to see if it does it everywhere.
Also, as i dont know what your system is, but some overclock tools or power management apps can also cause this.
