shotgun and 8th shell

Do you guys think the long delay between reloading the 8th shell and firing is a useful gameplay feature? I find it sometimes a bit annoying when aliens sneak up on you just as you finish reloading the 8th. There isn't any delay between reloading any other shot from 1 - 7 and firing so consistency of this delay rule isn't really there..

    It is annoying, but it can also be important information (timing a push). No longer that important though since everyone can afford one.

    you're right it isn't consistent there should be a pause after every shell.

    I thought this was an idea for the "one in the chamber" rule so you can have 9 shells :P

    I think it's a bug. If they are going to have a delay it should be at the start of reloading, like in NS1.

    There is one if you empty your entire clip, I think. That's how it was in NS1 too, which I guess encourages you to skillfully stay between 1-7 shells??
