<div class="IPBDescription">i know its somewhere already suggested.</div>Like other people deep in the forum said, it would be nice to, not automaticly pick up "expensive" weapons, instead of this, please add something like this:

maybe the image should be in the center of the screen, but its annyoing if you try to shoot a alien and you walk over someones weapon...you picked it up and die because of 1. the "activate animation" and/or 2. the weapon is empty and/or 3. the weapon is weaker...
For example it happend yesterday, i try to shoot a fade with my shotgun, i walk over the flamethrower of a dead mate and it was over...
For sure its a beta, but i just suggest that tiny feature because automatic pickup isn't good if you don't wanna pick that weapon up.
Also the weapons disapear to fast, if you try and run to your dead spot, most times, the weapon is gone.



suggestion #2:
it would be a nice feature later, if aliens could attack and destroy the dropped weapon.

This is the Number 1 complaint I hear on the pub servers.

THis has happened to me a few times as well.

It's the one change that I and by the sounds of it most of the community wants implemented by build 185.

Also when 'dropping' a weapon to give to your teamates; could the distance the weapon is dropped or thrown in front of the marine be increased a bit as when I'm trying to give a weapon to my teamates if I move forward by half a bee's d!ck I end up picking up the weapon again.

I died earlier today after picking up a flamethrower...when the enemy before me should've been sucking grenades.

Damn auto-pickup.

I remember a twitter post charlie made a few weeks ago, when he said he'd add a COD/Halo style pickup icon exactly like the one your suggesting, it will be added in time dont worry.
