random team gives marines 2 extra players

if everyone joins using random team marines get 2 extra players before it adds to aliens teams to balance.

if someone else can confirm this would help.

No. It's possible for players to forcefully imbalance teams by jumping teams instantly ie.

M v A
5 v 6 (can't join aliens)
6 v 6 (join marines)
5 v 7 (switch to aliens, imbalance teams)

Yes, a couple nights ago I joined a 16 player server that was 8v7. I jumped in random and it put me on marines to make it 9v7. I even remarked in all-chat about it at the time.

no i was talking about having people join the randomteam in the ready room. im not talking about when people leave the game at all only the randomteam join that is in the ready room and the fact that ive noticed that it will have 2 extra marines before it balances to aliens.
example:
M v A
1 v 1
3 v 1 clients joined using random team
3 v 3 random team finally balances
beginning of game before anyone joins
0 v 0
2 v 0 both or one used random team

also ive noticed this in bigger games
9 v 8
10 v 8 joined using random team putting on marines

If it will join you to team with lower count, then it will be predictable and not RANDOM! ^_^
It's random as name says :) ... why you complain?

One time I joined when there was only 1 marine in play and it put me on the marine team. So it was 2 marines - 0 aliens. People thought I was hacking.

it is not random and as i have said it follows the pattern as i have stated in my example it chooses the marines team over the aliens and will add 2 extra before it will even add to aliens team only if people join using random team though.

The only time random team should be random is when teams are perfectly balanced at the time, if it's doing it any other time (and it isn't even being random if the noted pattern is true), it's broken.
