I can move around games, build structures, and shoot my guns, but I can not see any map walls or textures...

All i see is the sky textures and way points.

any ideas?

I can not upload a picture do to this boards restriction on file size.....30K........

My hardware is older, but still runs the game fairly good.

hm my bet is that your 512mb graphic card is not powerful enough. i remember someone saying that 1gb is needed

nah 512Mb is more then enough for the medium setting, it being an AGP card is most likely the culprit...

    Upload the picture here: http://imgur.com/
Then post the link on the forums.

Also, which map did this occur on? I've had this happen on tram with previous builds (i.e. standing in marine start and looking to the south of the map), but it was only transitory. Does this happen when you create a local server too?

For the person who said 512mb is not enough. Your wrong. Is is on the edge of being to slow of a card. Yes. I have had this game running a few months back...soo

AGP is simply a BUS. Nothing more.

AGP is a slower BUS with less bandwidth though, however this error seems the dreaded FSAA bug, you have to set Anti Aliasing to application preference for NS2, otherwise you're going to get this invisible walls/world bug.

FSAA is not yet in the engine, but will be in there in due time of course :)

Also I'm running it on a HD4850 512Mb, which has no trouble running at medium. Sure 20-30FPS ain't awesome, but it is still playable...
