Movements?

<div class="IPBDescription">too smooth</div>I believe that this will be implemented soon, but I still think that the movements of first-person-view is too smooth.

For example, Gorge looks to walk really awkward(for a good meaning!) but at 1st-person-view, it's so natural and smooth that I barely feel that i'm moving.

Also for marines, it's enough to feel moving while sprinting, but it looks too smooth when walking.

Just like famous military games, I want the 1st-person-view while moving more dynamic.

i personally hope not since i get slightly dizzy from all these new fazdangle simulation realistic fps games now adays... not sure why. Most famous military fps game? That would be counterstrike - a game where movement is also very 'smooth'. However, if your talking about the marine rifle animations then i'd agree they could use some snap :p. (like the ns1 lmg!!)

    +1

Please do not shake, bob, or swing my screen at anytime. Makes me sick when the game moves for me no matter how realistic it looks. In real life you move around sure but the image is always stable in your head. No reason to add gimmicks to make it FEEL like you are moving.

Side note - Always hated in movies when the director decides to go with the hand cam and run around thinking it modern or innovative. Look dumb and makes the movie hard to watch.

One thing that will help this, that we are close to being able to implement now with the new animation system, is adding move specific idle animations and jump animations to the FP views. Right now, it only plays the idle animation that is meant for standing still, when standing when moving and when jumping.

I'd prefer to feel like a floating gun platform than put up with head bob and whatnot.
