<div class="IPBDescription">Marine Start</div>I was wondering if people would like a MS that had Dynamic Entry Points.
What i mean is, when a comm steps into the comm char he/she decides to close doors (Say 3-5) that only the comm can use. So think of Marine start with 5 open doors. The comm closes as many as they want and only the comm can manipulate these doors. So if mid game things arent working so well and marines are pinned down they could change the configuration.
Now before you say this would be OP, Onos can bust through these doors, creating their own entry that the comm obviously wanted close. This would help early game for marines, map MS design, and late game for aliens.
Just a thought =) It would be up to the mappers really and would take more effort in designing a MS that could use each exit but would allow for fresh games each time without the need to relocate (even though that was fun to do). It is much like Aliens when hives were random but the comm has the control.

You'd need to talk to a mapper about making all the doors like this, however it would break guidelines.
A mapper would need to answer this, but could you have 2 doors next to each other (leading to different corridors) that share '1' door. Like a sliding door that moves left to right, so when left door is open, right door is closed and when right door is open, left door is closed?
So a map with 4 entrances, 2 have to be open, 2 have to be closed. Possibly a moving wall rather than a door, so that Onos can't break through it.
Game dynamics!
Well, that's not the case on summit...
