I don't know about you but I'm REALLY excited about Babblers.
If you don't know what I mean its either on ns2 wiki or ns1 wiki, buts basically little bugs.
I think the effect for the marines will be awesome and as a main Kharra comm
it will be so useful.
Tl;Dr what are you excited for and how do you like the idea of Babblers?

What design did they choose again? The bus one or the headcrab one? I forgot...
Oh look, I'm topic viewer number 2, lucky me!
There was a concept art vote for the best babbler design a while back.

So basically like head crabs the khamm can unleash from one or multiple crags.

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG
I'm pretty pumped.
I'm excited for marines entering an alien base, only to be ambushed by a swarm of cat-sized insects. I presume they're going to do minor melee damage and then explode for more damage. Like the babblers in NS1.
I'm also excited to see more continuity in art between the drifter, which is insect-like and the babbler. I say this because the playable aliens classes (skulk, gorge, fade, onos) seem to have a reoccurring design theme, animal-like and armored.
Why do I think that?
Most of the concept arts focus on the bulbous body, few have claws or means to really cause external damage and most have legs to insinuate jumping or leaping.

Wow never saw it like that, it makes so much sense.
I was hoping for something like the scarab beetles off of "The Mummy" where they all litter the floor running towards you.
But the suicidal approach is much better for gameplay.

It was one of the very early builds, just like the fades teleportation.
Pray I use the term lightly.

Where we can vote ? :)
Off Topic : Has he been "the web"? Is it still current or not?
::EDIT:: Whoa, just realized that that can be read as a lack of expectation. It isn't.
