Bad Frames / Layout Test

<div class="IPBDescription">physical composition / no textures (low fps)</div>So....after spending a good chunk of time creating a basic layout for my current project (look familiar?). I went ahead and tried testing it in-game... it worked fine loading up and everything: I just get really bad frames (see below) as soon as it finishes loading; (ready-room/spawn). There are no textures/lights....nothing...just blank walls with a few adjustments. Any suggestions on what could be the cause to this; and or what the fix is? The map is relatively normal in size - nothing out of the ordinary. (noob@sE)

Not sure if it makes a difference... <i>I get around 50 fps on summit which is fully textured/lit</i>.

    i have had a really low frame rate when i havent got all needed entitys in my map!

    check the mapping guidelines for them to make sure you have not forgot any!

    e.g.
    ns2_gamerules
    player start
    eggs
    ready room


    i recognized the layout ;) nice work there! :)

    Add the game ents and see if that helps. Not sure why the fps would be so low.

    What map is this, by the way :p?

    Layout inspired by ns_tanith; with some new additons.

    This actually was just a test layout... don't know if I'll go through with it or not.

    It's was a two-week or so long proposition for me to get the level geometry in veil roughly 1-1, and I've been a mapping fool the last few months. Prepare for headaches

    Bottom right and whole of the left side is totally baron compare to the NE and SW. Need to balance that up a bit.
