Guide?

Is there some sort of guide to help me get started. I can't even create an extractor because I need some resource that looks like some sort of molecule. I haven't played NS1 in years and am not familiar at all with the NS2 changes. Is there a guide or beginners manual somewhere? Checked the wiki and of course searched and didn't see anything.

Live and learn, do not jump into commchair until you have played few rounds.

Alternatively use the forum search function, I recall there being mediocre comm guide somewhere (dated)

Better yet start a game alone with cheats on.

This will allow the game to start and you can march through the upgrade tree a couple times.
Do it for both sides ...its better knowing what they can build.

That way the first time you jump in the comm chair you will know the layout of the upgrades.

watching some of NS2HD's gameplay videos on youtube might also help, other then that, i cant rlly say theres a great guide.
My advice is like what TrC said, just jump in some games, play, win, lose, learn!
oh and dont comm yet, you will have your team lose on either side if you do ^^

I thought the tech tree was supposed to be intuitive? I haven't played for a few builds but, are there no tool-tips?
