Bug: Targeting and Phase Gates

So one thing Ive noticed witht he new patch is that phase gates and hit boxes are messed up.

FIrst thing Phase Gates

You step into a phase gate and STOP at the phase point, you will cycle through all locations. Sometimes if you go to a phase, and sit there for a fraction too long and you go forward to get out of the phase, it will register that as a teleport. Phase gates really become very clunky this patch. It could be lag that is responsible but for the life of me I've been double phasing, going to locations or phasing when I don't mean to.


Second is hit boxes, SOMETHING seems to have changed recently regarding them. I'm specifically talking about melee hit boxes. Trying to swipe something down with the hatchet is a nightmare. Your cross hair could be exactly center of the model, works fine, you go too far off center, and your swiping the wall behind it. Yet you are clearly within the model.

Cysts are stupid hard as well, unless your in the right spot you just swipe away at the ground behind it.

Can we get the melee to function similar to the bullets, where the hit boxes seem to be functioning properly.

    Honestly I think the concept of the phasegate as it is is clunky, I'd have to say it was entirely better with how the phasegate was in NS1. Being able to control when you teleported was nice, rather than being at the mercy of a hitbox and a timer.
