Let gorge build buildings!

For marines, commander drops structures and marines build,
then why not for aliens? Let gorge bulid buildings!
Not meaning that gorges should use resources to drop structures just like NS1, but let the structures grow up by 'USE' key and be finished(now like NS1).
It would awesome to see. Gorges giving help and heals to small and unmature structures and let them grow up.
Then aliens can be more unified and able to play as a team.
Actually it's quite a bit unbalanced that all of the structures of aliens are naturally finished by themselves.

Personally I think it should be done with heal spray rather than E, as it's a bit more intuitive for the heal spray to do it, but that's just a minor thing.

I am a bit confused. You can already "use" buildings as gorge to help em build. In NS1 you can drop a building and it constructed itself (just way slower than in NS2).
Or do you want that the com drops a ghost and the gorge should build it?
If you mean the last one I don't think it would work because you need 2 players (1 has to evolve) to have the possibility to build. And this is the problem. What if aliens have enought Tres bot no one has enough for gorge or they are a higher lifeform ( 1 onos 5 skulks and only the onos has res for gorge).
It would be to complicated to limit it to the gorge and the aliencom becomes to depending on others that he would be usless.
And don't forget that marines also have MACs to help build. Ending on 10 builders on marineside and 0 or 2 on alien side.
Hell let the gorge drop the other chambers but thats OT.

And if a marine comes around the corner becaused he heard you milies away healing all the time, suprising you with 0 energy because you build a hydra.

Well, actually it's more like if marines needed to obscure their view and drop their weapon and make a BZZT sound in order to buiild stuff.
Which they already do.
If you're a gorge your response to marines is to run, which means energy has nothing to do with it. Being able to build from a greater distance and without being locked to the structure is a benefit.
So you guys mean that Marine doesn't need to take time to build things and let the structures automatically be built by themselves? :) I don't think so.
p.s. I didn't know that it's already implemented because I couldn't play NS2 for a while. Anyway, i think it still grows itself up enough fast that needs no help of gorges, by watching NS2 matches on Youtube..
To build in Crevice RT and DC crags you would need 2 people to spend ress to go gorge and build.
Aliens would loste theyr mobility. Think on building a cyst chain and replacing cysts.
The marines all can do this from start. Every marine can build without spending (and gestate defensless) ress.
Think about your idea the next time you are alien com and dropping cystas and building. And then you would always need to have a gorge that just does what the com wants. He has to obey on the coms orders that mean the player that plays the gorge is just a better NPC.
Also lets compare what you need to build then:
Marines:
10 Tres for IP thats all
Buildway: Com drops - marines build
Aliens:
10 Tres for whip, 30 for a drifter and 10 Pres for gorge
Buildway: Research Drifter - spawn ghost - (gestating if no gorges) - build

Right now, the alien res model is pretty broken such that in most of the games I've played, hive energy (for drifters and cysts) is the most limiting 'resource' for the crucial early game rather than TRes or PRes. This makes alien-to-marines res cost comparisons pretty useless for discussing balance/opness. Rather, it would be more useful to compare completion times that include the time it takes to get enough resources for the structure (changes based on number of res nodes captured) and the time it takes to build the structure (changes of how many MACs/marines/gorges are helping to build).
WRT the op, gorges already can help build everything but the hive and, frankly, I'm fine with that. However, I could support some tweaks that make alien structures grow much slower (comparable to the time it takes for a MAC to build a marine stucture), so that gorge building would be more valuable. I'd even support putting back in gorge hive-building, but at the cost of increasing the regular hive buildtime by 1.5-2x.
